RIYADH: The Ashraqat Hajj company recently hosted a visit from the Palestinian undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs at their Makkah headquarters, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.
During the visit, Muhammad Maajini, the chairman of Ashraqat Hajj, and Hussam Abu Al-Rub discussed this year’s Hajj plans. The company aims to assist around 7,000 Palestinian pilgrims, and the discussions covered the detailed itinerary for their pilgrimage to Makkah.
Abu Al-Rub praised the Saudi government’s efforts to ensure the comfort and well-being of pilgrims, emphasizing the roles of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and other relevant agencies. He also expressed his appreciation for King Salman’s initiative to host 2,000 Palestinian family members of martyrs and those wounded in the Gaza conflict.
